Lux develops Microsoft SharePoint 2007 intranet site for Microsoft Xbox Halo3 team
SEATTLE, June 21, 2007
The Lux Group, Inc., a Seattle-based online design, development, and content services company, has announced the launch of a new Microsoft intranet site for the Halo3 marketing team. The site has been custom designed using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS).
"Like a lot of people, we at Lux are anxiously awaiting the launch of Halo 3, so we are especially excited to have been closely involved with the marketing team," said Todd Tibbetts, president of Lux. "We are also very proud of the cutting edge look and innovative development direction we've taken in creating the new site."
In developing this site, Lux was able to build on the out-of-the-box capabilities available in MOSS and create a truly unique and exciting online presence.
"Not only did we create a visually exciting site, but we created a site that takes maximum advantage of the SharePoint platform," said Damon Bacheller, Lux project manager for the Halo 3 intranet project. "In addition to a highly customized design which employs imagery from the game, we also were able to integrate streaming server functionality and we merged multiple portals into one to maximize site capacity."
Lux is the industry leader in custom SharePoint deployments. Lux is an approved Microsoft vendor, and has built literally dozens of MOSS 2007 sites for Microsoft and for non-Microsoft clients.
