HomeStreet Bank finds customers with Lux search strategies
SEATTLE, February 21, 2006
Lux, a Seattle-based online design, development, and documentation company, announced today that it has recently completed a search engine optimization (SEO) program with HomeStreet Bank. The consultation has already resulted in improved search engine results for the bank.
"HomeStreet has made it a priority to leverage the Internet to build brand awareness and drive traffic to our website," said Richard Bendix, Director of Marketing for HomeStreet Bank. "Search marketing can be complex and time-consuming, and we couldn't have achieved the great results we've seen so quickly without the SEO expertise at Lux."
The project included a comprehensive site audit, traffic analysis, content and keyword analysis, and specific recommendations for improving search engine visibility.
Lux analysis also revealed issues with the site's content management system that were causing the site to impede some search engines from indexing the site.
"A website is only a good marketing tool if your customers can find it," said Todd Tibbetts, president of Lux. "It's gratifying to be able to partner with a great company like HomeStreet Bank and help them use the latest SEO techniques to improve their reach."
Lux is committed to assisting clients with optimizing search results and with search engine marketing campaigns, either as a standalone project, as in the case of HomeStreet Bank, or as part of a more comprehensive website design and development project, said Tibbetts.
