Lux Collaborates with Scheidermayer on Alaska Seafood "Cook it Frozen" Campaign

Lux, a Seattle- and London-based online design, development, and documentation company announced today the launch of a new website for its long-term client the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute. The site, built in collaboration with the Schiedermayer & Associates advertising and public relations company, is for Alaska Seafood's new "Cook it Frozen" advertising campaign.

The site is a treasure trove of recipes, cooking videos, and information to help consumers plan delicious meals using frozen Alaska Seafood. Video segments include renowned actor Tom Skerritt singing the praises of Alaska's fresh seafood bounty.

"It is great to be involved in an integrated campaign coordinating traditional media and the Internet," said Lux Vice President and Director of Business Development Todd Tibbetts. "From Seattle, we worked with Schiedermayer in Los Angeles and Oregon for a client in Alaska. I'm proud of our company's ability to work across every state on the West Coast to complete this project."

Schiedermayer & Associates uses their collective experience in brand identity and positioning, advertising, public relations, collateral, packaging, and interactive media to develop campaigns for food clients throughout the United States.

The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) is divided into three distinct marketing programs: export, foodservice, and retail. All three programs are designed to enhance the appeal and popularity of Alaska Seafood. The export program operates in the European Union, China, and Japan, while the retail and foodservice programs focus their activities on the U.S.

Lux is an online design, development, and documentation company based in Seattle and London. Lux clients include Microsoft, PEMCO, T-Mobile, Tommy Bahama, IDX, Valley Medical Center, Akamai Technologies, and Rabanco.
