Apple Physical Therapy Patient Intake Management System

Apple Physical Therapy manages information on clients and employees for 20 clinics in the Pacific Northwest. Lux helped them put a friendly front-end on their SQL database and update their documentation and data storage.

Lux created 11 electronic forms, using ASP.net, designed to make it easy for APT staff to update, store, and access data from an Internet-based, encrypted database while keeping all patient information highly secure, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Locally-owned APT is thriving, recruiting new employees and acquiring new patients. In addition to physical therapy and athletic training services, Apple provides work conditioning, massage therapy, occupational therapy, and women’s health services.

With growth comes the need to better manage information, which is why Apple contacted Lux to help with the first module of their larger Intranet development project.

Lux’s discovery work helped define and document the company’s current practices and mission.
